Originally from Wichita, Kansas, Annamarie Reader joined the cello section of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra in the fall of 2025. Before relocating to Fort Worth, she spent several years teaching privately and performing in Houston with Mercury Chamber Orchestra, River Oaks Chamber Orchestra, and the Houston Symphony. During the summers, she performs at music festivals in Colorado and Utah, enjoying both the music and the scenery. Annamarie earned her degrees at the Cleveland Institute of Music and Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music
