About Us

SPECTRUM CHAMBER MUSIC SOCIETY

Spectrum is the oldest continually-operating series of professional chamber music performances in Fort Worth. Though the majority of its members also perform in the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, we frequently feature artist-faculty members of local universities, members of other area orchestras and wind ensembles, and other solo artists. Considering the broad range of local talent and the enormous legacy of music performed, Spectrum truly lives up to its name.

In addition to our venues located near downtown, All Peoples Church Unitarian Universalist, located in far-east Fort Worth, is an ideal location for Arlington and mid-cities residents to explore the world of chamber music in an intimate setting.

Got a lead on a local performance space for a future Spectrum concert?

We want to know about it.

The ideal location is one that seats at least 100 people, has good acoustics and a grand piano, and is affordable for a small but spunky 501(c)3 performing arts organization that is on the rise.

As you may have noticed, we tend toward performing in church sanctuaries and chapels (which generally work great for our needs), but we are open to other venue ideas, as well.
