Support Spectrum on North Texas Giving Day (Thursday September 23)

UPDATE: MATCHING FUNDS! As added incentive to contribute on NTXGD, we have already received a commitment of up to $250 in matching funds (and there may be more where that came from), so your donation will go even farther!

Spectrum Chamber Music Society is excited to participate in our very first North Texas Giving Day this Thursday September 23!

Here are some reasons to give to Spectrum on NTXGD:

—Since 1986, Spectrum has entertained North Texas audiences with a concert series that features an eclectic mix of 18th-21st Century chamber music performed by musicians of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and friends. Wanna see everything we’ve played over the last 35 years? Check out our repertoire list.

—We have recently announced our inaugural Spectrum Chamber Music Composition Award. This fall, we will open up the competition to composers from all over the country, and the winning composer will get a cash prize as well as a live performance of the winning piece on a concert in April 2022.

—We are currently working on an education program to bring chamber music to the schools in our community. Watch for more information to come.

—In the past few years, Spectrum has shown considerable growth by incorporating with the State of Texas and becoming a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit performing arts organization. We have put together a Board of Directors and everything!

—Almost all of our performances are free and open to the public. Therefore, the main way we are able to pay our artists is through donations and sponsorships from generous people like you.

Spectrum is on the move! Be part of the excitement by donating to us on—or before— North Texas Giving Day!
